FURIA made it through to the DreamHack Masters Dallas semi-finals after beating Vitality on Inferno (16-8) and Nuke (16-8).

A B take by FURIA gave the Brazilians the first round on Inferno on the attacking side as Vinicius "⁠VINI⁠" Figueiredo took down three. An aggressive play on A by FURIA gave them the third round against a mix of SMGs and rifles to make it 3-0, but it was finally after several players saved that doubles by Cédric "⁠RpK⁠" Guipouy and Alex "⁠ALEX⁠" McMeekin got Vitality on the board. Another triple by VINI and a double by Andrei "⁠arT⁠" Piovezan in a 2vs2 afterplant kept Vitality in control early on.

As the half progressed Vitality started to find their footing, making it 4-4, but consecutive aggressive B plays by FURIA kept the Brazilians ahead, as Vitality were only able to get one more round before the half, going down 5-10.

Vitality took the pistol round on the attack, but FURIA, having won the forcebuy, managed to turn the early rounds of the second half around, making it 13-6 before the French team could reply, but a late-round play on A into a stack by FURIA got the Americans on the edge of match-point. An ace with a 1vs3 clutch by Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut the following round kept Vitality in the match, but a huge 1vs3 clutch by Yuri "⁠yuurih⁠" Santos the following round swayed the balance for FURIA to go on to close the map out, 16-8.

FURIA beat Vitality in two maps to move along in the bracket

An inner play on the attack by Vitality kicked Nuke off, with the French team taking the first round. A 10-second ninja defuse by Rinaldo "⁠ableJ⁠" Moda Junior against RpK the following round evened things out early on. A triple by yuurih in secret on the first gun round with 3-1 on the board kept FURIA in charge of proceedings. With 6-2 on the board, arT came in big with three AWP kills as FURIA charged on to a 12-3 half.

FURIA then kept the momentum going into the second half, winning the pistol round and the follow-up for a 14-3 lead before Vitality could reply. A double by ZywOo followed by a triple by RpK kept the French team in it as FURIA had to go on an eco round. Ultimately, however, it was too little too late, as FURIA made it to match point at 15-8, closing it out the following round to move on to the next round in Dallas.
